Project "T-Shirt" consists of a series of 7 different T-Shirts, from T/1 to T/7.
Inspired by minerals, mountains, the earth and the solar system. This is a series of 7 individual T-Shirts, all handmade and individually "painted", using an extensive process of distressing, dyeing, painting, and sewing. The process began with pure 100% cotton, which was cut into 7 individual T-Shirts using one basic pattern designed specifically for this series [+ one "unisex" style pattern for T/7]. Each T-Shirt was then sewn by hand, and then hand "painted" and distressed, utilizing a variety of natural chemical compounds [salt NaCl, water H2O, hydrogen peroxide H2O2, chlorine, natural enzymes EC 3.2.1.4, natural pigments, and physical processes of sun-bleaching, soaking, and surface abrasion.
